The PHASIFY™ DeCOVID SARS-CoV-2 RT-qPCR Kit is a RT-qPCR kit for detecting SARS-CoV-2 from human respiratory specimens, including nasopharyngeal swabs, oropharyngeal swabs and sputum. Developed in collaboration with Prof. Leo Poon, one of the world's leading scientists in emerging viruses at a Hong Kong University, the PHASIFY™ DeCOVID kit is a multiplex RT-qPCR detecting two specific sequences in the ORF1b region of SARS-COV-2 in a single reaction together with human RNase P housekeeping gene as the internal control

Data / Performance

PHASIFY™ DeCOVID demonstrated superior performance in detecting ORF-1b targets when compared to BGI’s FDA EUA RT-PCR Kit. When PHASIFY™ DeCOVID is combined with our PHASIFY™ VIRAL RNA extraction kit, the limit of detection of SARS-CoV-2 is further improved to as low as 10 cp / mL

I. Reduced Ct value against industry leading brand (BGI)

II. Increased screening sensitivity with the use of PHASIFY™ VIRAL
