Working Together to Empower Women’s Health with Precision

At the event, Gary Guan, General Manager of PHASE Scientific China, introduced the company’s development journey and its commitment to social responsibility. Rooted in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area with a global outlook, PHASE Scientific leverages its proprietary PHASiFY™ technology platform to deliver non-invasive, convenient, and highly accurate solutions for early cancer detection. The company and its founder have received numerous industry accolades.

From emergency support during Hong Kong’s COVID-19 response to public initiatives such as charity step campaigns and clinical research for cervical cancer screening, PHASE Scientific has consistently upheld its core belief in “Technology for Good.” Looking ahead, the company will continue to collaborate with partners across sectors, using technological innovation to fulfill its philanthropic mission and deliver meaningful social impact.

Targeted Philanthropy Bringing Warmth to Communities

Zeng Xinkai, Secretary-General of the Shenzhen Media Group Charity Foundation, outlined the foundation’s achievements and detailed plans for the allocation of the donated funds. He noted that the Shenxin Philanthropy Fund focuses on women’s health by implementing public awareness campaigns, free screening programs, and precision diagnostic services to support women in underserved communities.

The donation from PHASE Scientific will be specifically allocated to a cervical cancer screening initiative. Leveraging the company’s advanced urine-based HPV testing technology, the program offers a non-invasive, convenient, and accessible approach to early detection. This initiative will enable early screening and diagnosis, ensuring that philanthropic resources directly benefit grassroots communities and help more women reduce their risk of cervical cancer.

Innovating for Good: A Donation Driven by Care

As a biotechnology company deeply committed to innovation, PHASE Scientific has always embraced its guiding principle of “Technology for Good.”

In his remarks, Chairman and CEO Ricky Chiu stated:

“The true value of technology lies not only in commercial success, but in how many lives it can improve. Through innovative solutions such as urine-based HPV testing, we aim to lower barriers to screening and protect more women from the threat of cervical cancer. Our partnership with Peking University Shenzhen Hospital and the Shenzhen Media Group Charity Foundation marks an important step in fulfilling this mission.”

During the ceremony, PHASE Scientific presented a donation plaque to the Shenzhen Media Group Charity Foundation. The funds will support a cervical cancer screening program for 17,000 eligible women in Guang’an, Sichuan Province. Through the professional management of the Shenxin Philanthropy Fund, women in remote regions will gain access to more convenient and efficient screening services, advancing early detection and timely diagnosis.

Medical-Enterprise Collaboration to Strengthen the Health Defense Line

At the event, the Shenzhen Media Group Charity Foundation awarded PHASE Scientific the honorary title of “Caring Enterprise” in recognition of its active contributions to public welfare. Chairman Pang Wei expressed sincere appreciation for the company’s generosity, noting that the collaboration represents an important step in advancing the Foundation’s “Philanthropy + Media + Technology” strategic framework and expanding the reach and precision of its public service initiatives.

Li Changzhong, Director of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Center at Peking University Shenzhen Hospital, emphasized:

“Cervical cancer is one of the most serious malignancies affecting women’s health, yet it is also highly preventable through early screening. The convenience and practicality of urine-based HPV testing can significantly improve screening rates at the grassroots level. By integrating the company’s innovative diagnostic technology with the hospital’s clinical expertise and the foundation’s public fundraising platform, we are establishing a comprehensive ‘Screening–Diagnosis–Assistance’ closed-loop model. This is of profound significance in improving women’s health outcomes in underserved communities.”

Xiao Ping also expressed hope that the program would continue to expand its coverage, enabling more women to access standardized and convenient cervical cancer screening services.

During the subsequent roundtable discussion, Wu Ruifang, Qu Xinfeng, Dai Wenkui, and other experts engaged in in-depth dialogue on strengthening philanthropic partnerships, fulfilling social responsibility, and advancing cervical cancer prevention and treatment.

From Awareness to Screening: A Comprehensive Approach to Women’s Health

Beyond financial contributions, PHASE Scientific actively participates in multi-dimensional public welfare initiatives. Through health education seminars, distribution of testing kits, and appreciation activities for healthcare professionals, the company has established a comprehensive care pathway encompassing “Education–Screening–Intervention,” ensuring continuous protection of women’s health.

At the conclusion of the event, guests toured PHASE Scientific’s laboratory facilities to gain firsthand insight into its research achievements, laboratory infrastructure, and testing processes. Attendees expressed high regard for the company’s technological capabilities, innovative vision, and standardized management practices, and voiced strong interest in deepening future collaboration to further integrate technology with philanthropy.
